Olga Brown is a UK-based, Ukrainian figurative and landscape painter
Olga gained her MA in art and textiles from the Academy of Fine Art, Lviv, Ukraine in 1982, and now lives and works in London where she won the Chelsea Art Society Agnes Reeve Award for the best painting of London in 2009.

Olga exhibits extensively at galleries in the UK and abroad, including venues such as
The Mall Galleries, Cork Street Gallery and the Royal College of Art.  Her landscape paintings are based on an impressionistic style, with her cityscapes embracing all the noise and chaos of modern life.  Using thick brushstrokes and rich colour manipulation, her paintings of London capture the vivacity of Britain's capital city in all its guises.

Her recent figurative work introduces a new direction in her art; inspired by both the Old Masters and modern photography, Olga captures her subjects in single moments against bold black backgrounds which allow her to play with portraying light and movement.
